Lung and Heart Slices

Two-dimensional reconstructions of local blood flow using a microsphere density method. Regional flow at each point in the organ is determined from the average distance to the 5 nearest microspheres. Regional microsphere densities are corrected for partial volume artifacts and normalized to the mean for the entire organ.
